How to Transfer Stock onto Your Interactive Brokers Account

Go to the IB Account Management login page and log in

Under Transfer & Pay, click Transfer Positions

For all ASX stock transfers, select Basic FOP Transfer

Enter the Holding Broker information (the broker currently holding your shares)
​

Begin adding each asset individually
​

Click Stock Lookup to search for each asset
​

​

Search by symbol
​

​

Select the version of the stock in AUD currency
​

Set Type to LONG and enter the exact number of shares (found on your holding statement)
​

After adding the final stock, click Save and Finish

Enter your signature exactly as IB has it recorded (shown to the left of the "Sign Here" box)

Click View Form, then save it to your computer and print it
​

On the printed form, hand sign and include your HIN (Holder Identification Number)
